Transport for London

TfL Engineering Apprenticeships

ApprenticeshipsIt's one of the busiest cities in the world. London is a leader in innovation. The Tube, the trains, the buses, the river, the roads, the trams, the DLR, the taxis, the cycle lanes – Transport for London is responsible for virtually every mode of transport in the city. Without us London would stand still.

There's no doubt that the face of the Capital is changing and that we're there at the heart of it all. Transport for London apprenticeships offer a fantastic opportunity to make an impact on London and to design and implement solutions for the transport challenges of the future. We offer a unique chance to get involved with shaping the transport infrastructure of one of the world’s most dynamic cities.

If you want an exciting career in a hands-on engineering environment, the London Underground (LU) Engineering Apprenticeship and the LU Track Renewal Engineering Apprenticeship are two of the most highly regarded in the UK.

Maintaining and modernising the oldest tube network in the world is full of challenges. Working in this area doesn't just involve using a variety of new and old technologies - it often means finding unique solutions to engineering problems. LU Engineering and LU Track Renewal Engineering staff make sure that the tube system runs as smoothly and efficiently as possible during this period of major upgrades.
